Tuning-in
The purpose of this project, is to use TV as a frame to tell a story the progression of tuning into your own channel and self-realization, having your own purpose get clearer as the episodes progress. My original inspiration was when something bad happens, thinking, it's for the plot, it's good for my storyline, and using this idea as escapism. Additionally, the TV show WandaVision is tied closely to the glitchy/static TV aesthetic, and the ideas of choosing your own destiny and purpose are strongly tied to this show as well.

Photo 1: emotional support
The TV static is strongest here, tightly surrounding the subject as she clutches a stuffed animal, lit by the glow of her laptop, her face doubles as reality blurs.
Photo 2: a safe space
Artificial light encompasses the scene, centered on the subject as colorful static is scattered throughout.
Photo 3: tuning-in
The subject decides to go on a drive, tuning the radio to mirror tuning in to herself, the turning point as the static clears away.
